A Crowd That Cheers for More Than Just the Ride

The Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch Rodeo is more than just two days worth of bronc bustin’ and barrel racing – it’s also the Boys Ranch Alumni Homecoming, a 5K run, BBQ lunch, AdventureFEST and a raffle for a chance to win big prizes.

New this year, join us at AdventureFest from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. There will be a BBQ lunch served from noon-2, games, activities, vendors and lots of fun to be had by all. And you’ll have a chance to meet the Boys Ranch Bull Fighters!

The annual Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch Rodeo also serves as homecoming for alumni. A number of events are planned for the group and the Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch Alumni Association’s executive director, Bobby Sarpalius, will present this year’s Distinguished Alumni awards.

Contests and Awards

Children, ages 4-18, will compete in a number of rodeo activities including calf riding, stick horse racing, steer riding, pole bending, barrel racing, break away roping, bull riding, bull fighting and bareback bronc riding. Belt-buckles and saddles are awarded to the top rodeo competitors.
